Hryggur (Icelandic for 'spine') is a collection of accessories designed in collaboration with Icelandic jewellery design company Hring eftir Hring.
Wooden vertebras are woven together to imitate the movement and shape of the human spine, assembled to form three different lengths of neck-ties and a bracelet, intended to be used by both sexes. The vertebras are CNC-milled from 6mm-thick plywood with a leather cord extending through them, weaved together with a black thread, allowing for its flexibility.
