The monster in my graphic novel is inspired by Nemesis from the Resident Evil series.
This is the character sketched in pencil.
A quick design of a rocket launcher that he carries.
I really like the idea of stitching half of his face up this is why I chose this design for my monster.
I thought I would give him crooked and menacing teeth to make the monster look more scary.
I also used fineliner as an alternate method to pencil sketches and I personally think they look better.
