2014-Typography for the "Good Looks" neon sign

I was extremely lucky to work with Andrew Michaan on the design of his stage sign.

Andrew is a comedian from Portland who does stand up comedy, and organizes events with other comedians, for which he needed a large neon sign to place on the stage behind the comedians.

I've always loved neon signs, they remind me of strange futuristic movies, city lights at night, and the strange glow they emit has a mesmerizing effect on me.

It was great to get to work on a such an original project, and the neon artist who created the neon sign from my letters is also, in great part, responsible for the result.
The final result, the sign hanging on the stage.
My design, which was submitted to the neon artist (neonist?)
Here's the stage while a performance is under way.
One of the stages and, in the back, the neon sign.
