For this project I was tasked with creating a publication for the Royal Institute of Philosophy's annual lecture series. From researching the content and institution I found that I needed to make the text accessible to a wide range of audiences. This lead to me focusing on breaking up the heavy text to make it more approachable.

For my publication I focused the design around a time line theme, linking to the Past and Present event title.
I did this through designing the contents page around a time line visual. I then took graphic elements from the contents spread to use throughout the book. I used full bleed images, section divides and pull quotes to break down the large blocks of body copy. This made the content more approachable to readers as they weren't over faced with column upon column of text. This fit my clients brief to make the event accessible to everyone, not
just philosophers.
