"Defy Dilution, In Drink & In Deed"
George Garvin Brown - Founder of Brown-Forman Inc. (1870) - changed the standard of American Bourbon whiskies through his passion for consistency and reliability when he decided to bottle his product – An unprecedented move that protected the quality of his offering from the far too common swindlers and cheats of his day. This spirit carries on today in the Brown-Forman beverage empire, which is still driven by a great care for consistent quality and innovative practices. This report aims to revive the forgotten story of Mr. Brown and how his dedication to well-made and well-enjoyed beverages has left a dilution-defying legacy at home in Louisville as well as all over the globe.
