Every once in a while, you need a break. With "Get Out and Explore," this week is a recess where I'll take photos of whatever I happen to come across. I better get moving, or we'll be seeing some boring photos :)

Day 586 [1/26/15]: "Cataract" - the sky's nightly pupil hides behind a thin, cloudy veil, illuminating a halo among the stars.
Day 587 [1/27/15]: "Rose & Mary" - satisfying two senses.
Day 587 [1/27/15]: "Charcoaled Out" - a solitary nail reminds us that this was once more than a pile of ashes.
Day 588 [1/28/15]: "Reminiscent of Glory Days" - after the game.
Day 589 [1/29/15]: "Once Upon a Time" - people used to call this a lake. It's mid-winter, and the lake doesn't look much better. Where has all the rain gone? Lake Oroville, CA.
Day 589 [1/29/15]: "Supply" - where does all the water go?
Day 590 [1/30/15]: "Engineered Forest" - wait, I thought trees naturally grew in rows, haha. I've always enjoyed the patterns that orchards make. So glad to see so much agriculture in our community.
Day 590 [1/30/15]: "Geometric" - creating patterns in the sky, along with a little zap from the moon.
Day 591 [1/31/15]: "Row L" - patterns of the urban jungle. Hwy 50 in Sacramento, CA.
Day 592 [2/1/15]: "Foresight" - we can only see so far ahead in the road of life. Stop for advice, react to obstacles discovered, and don't get distracted trying to predict the path unseen.
