Problem:
Despite the banking industry investing millions telling New Zealanders about the latest contactless payment technology, people were too afraid to use it.

Insight:
Don't ask people to buy with their contactless cards. Ask them to give.
Idea:
We created the first Christmas tree powered by donations. Contactless card donations.
How it works:
Donating triggered one of three immersive light and sound shows.
Every donation brought the kinetic forest to life, with light and sound playing between six of the smaller, moving trees.
The show culminated in one single light being added to the eight meter high Giving Tree in recognition of their donation. The experience was a NZ first for light, sound and motion.
