The Δ is a symbol of manliness. It is a sword. It is something that gapes open when the outer layers of identity are dissolved.
A snow landscape is serene and peaceful. But a snow desert is isolation and lonliness personified. The conflict of being at peace while on your own, but at the same time — anxious to be so alone.
A white lighthouse is a beacon to find and to be found, a star and a guardian at the same time. A poppy is a symbol if Morpheus, the god of dreams. A field of poffies is an eternal sleep full of dreams. It is a fairy-tale.
