The Baroque Romance
This is a live class room project undertaken by me. The project was given by Pathi Saree's. The brief was to create a collection of print based sarees for their SS15 collection. The designs had to be simple and bold.
The theme selected was inspired by the baroque era to highlight the lavish yet sophisticated garment itself. The prints created are simple. And the layout followed were simple to give a sense of elegence. The color pallete selected for the project was extracted from Pathi Sarees's Portfolio of designs to match the market preference needed. The fabrics used to develop the final sarees range would be crepes and chiffons to provide the required fall...
