Friction - Animated Typeface
Friction is a distorted geometric typeface that intentionally puts emphasis on it's graphic appearance. The minimalistic core of the typeface is built around geometric shapes. Two secondary layers of graphic elements create more abstract letterforms. The many small moving parts create a fluttering, organic feeling.
New features include:
- 3 colors and opacity
- animate secondary elements out (checkbox)
Static Version
The font has been built as an OTF font with the different layers acting as weights. This enables end users to have 3 colors in the final layered typeface. Available for free at friction.dk
