Climbing plants have always been popular with housing estates to
take away the harsh uniformities of the walls that separate them
from the road and each other.
These plants possess little or no ability to bear weight, but let alone
are seen climbing, twining and creeping around structures of
support.
This book revolves around an ecosystem created
on these structures of support- fences.
In the larger scheme it may seem ordinary and insignificant to an
onlooker, but, on a deeper study the myriad varieties of plants and
insects makes it an ecosystem of its own.
They’re a microcosm to depict the
macrocosm around us.
These illustrations have been hand painted using watercolours and later compiled to form a book.
