2014 was not an easy year.
Because the person I used to live with and I got seperated.
Therefore I have made some bad experiences which have left
a big disorder in my mind and because of that I lost all
my energy and impulsion which I need in order to be creative.
I was slightly becoming a stranger to myself.

C O N C E P T
The name of this new artwork shows due to the doubly used letter 'A'
that there is a strong connection between OMEGA – the end respectively
the old year – and ALPHA – the new beginning or rather the new year.
The individual letters were created in a rough and chaotic style
with a paintbrush and black gouache so that they
can reflect my feelings of the past year.
But for me this style also shows power, vitality and confidence.
Therefore it represents my expectations and my hopeful view on the new year.
The scull stands for death and life – for omega und alpha.
The butterflies could be interpreted as representation of the soul,
resurrection, survival and the bees as immortality, effort and victory.
In the background there are many different selfmade textures
which could be seen as movement, improvement and the cycle of mind.

C O N C L U S I O N
The passion for visualization which has filled myself with pleasure,
has never been gone and will never disappear.
I am now feeling how much strength creativity is able to give.
It can not be right that someone takes this from me –
something I still want to put all my energy into. Now even more than before!
In the last weeks I have been fully aware how pleased I should be –
because of my passion. This and a few special people
have always been motivating myself to believe and trust in better times.
I am deeply grateful to this support.
This is what makes me stay strong and brings hope.
OMEGALPHA is probably my most personal artwork.
Because with this work I would like to celebrate my fight
and victory towards last year.
2015 has now begun.
It is the end of the past and at the same time the beginning of something new.
And I am proudly saying that I am back. Back to life.
