Creating the typeface my biggest inspiration was the ✞Church of St. Elizabeth of the House of Árpád in Budapest. The building stands out with its rich ornamentation and the form of the rose windows. The elements of the "Rosa" typeface are based on the unique shape of these rose windows.
Creating the publication my motivation was to recreate the church's lighting effects.
During summer time the light getting through the stained glass windows makes the interior of the church rainbow colored. This project was made for a university project called Budapestype.
