Radionica Arhitekture (The Architecture Workshop) was established in 2003 by Goran Rako, the head of an architectural office based in Zagreb. In 2004. Rako took part in the “Days of Oris” where he presented a lecture concerning his previous work. In the same year he won first place in the project competition for kindergarten “Hlapić”, thus beginning its realization. During the following years the team landed another highly sought after project – The Cascade Commercial Center in Zagreb, they gained recognition for the Narona Archaeological Museum and took part in other prominent project competitions. Another important competition was the Memorial Water-tower park in Vukovar, where Radionica Arhitekture won first place yet again. A new logo and website were designed for Radionica Arhitekture as their rise in business was recognized by the Croatian as well as the world’s architectural scene.
