After deep observations in public spaces, I noticed that it's rare to see a woman sitting spread legs with the back bended, or a man standing super straight and legs crossed. Surprisingly, we are not free to sit a the way we want, either for men or women. Otherwise, prejudices will be attached on you. In other words, the way to sit depends on our gender.

My stool wants to erase these prejudices and gather genders around one chair. More than a stool, it's a social and political tool. Fredo's strategy is to work on a new way to guide user's movements, « forcing » them to sit in a certain posture, using the balance.
Fredo is made of steel pipes and a piece a birch.
When the user sit, he/she immediately tip forward because of his own weight. Forced to only use the two front legs of the stool, the only way for the user to stay stable is to use his own legs, to adjust the balance.
