Experiment with narrative telling through Online medias and oral history. Design a publication that tells the story of an ordinary Chinese family in relation to the Chinese subcultures and historical/political backgrounds. The aim of this project is to create an unique and interesting reading experience for the none Chinese people to have a better understanding of Chinese.
Target English readers who are interested Chinese sub-culture and society
-Initiate the project with academic research
-Experiment with media and different design strategies
-Develop multiple design concepts and discuss in class
-Accomplish the project from the start to the end
-Design a workbook with a rationale for the final work
