The Mark
 
What makes Matthew Lyons different and sets him apart from the rest of the over saturated field of photography is his personality. It was extremely important that the mark and branding represented his exciting, fun, and out-going point-of-view in his visual brand and identity. 
 
The mark itself really needed to reflect the energetic personality that Matt represents. 
 
Color Direction 
 
Color was another way to include and represent Matt's personality and ideas of style. 
Yellow represents the sun, while aqua blue/green water and earth. These elements combine to create nature. 
Because most Matt's inspiration and spare time is spend outdoors (hiking, exploring, etc.) it was crucial to incoprate that in the visual mark.
Affiliated Brand
 
The affiliated brand reflects the individual and person that makes up who Matt is. By spending time and photographing with Matt you quickly find out that he is just a big kid with a camera recording the world around himself. always smiling and while never forgeting to bring his camera along. This is the message I wanted this mark to represent.
