I was asked by a friend to paint his surfboard, no brief as such, he just wanted a painting, so I went with a nautical theme and painted a giant octopus. I enjoyed doing this so much I decided to take the illustration further and create a t shirt design from it. I restricted myself to one colour with screen printing in mind and all in vectors as thats how I work. I was pleased with the finished result, but unfortunately for digital printing found it was best to remove the text that I had added.
