Grigory Sokolov kindly accepted my request to photograph him during several rehearsals in the Grand hall of St. Petersburg Philharmonia before the concert in April 2014.

Later Deutsche Grammophon asked several shots for the cover and booklet of Sokolov's new album (first one for the 20 years).
