Gender Stereotypes

Brains of men and women are not similar.
Men have more color blindness than women and women are generally able to see more colors than men.
Children become aware that they themselves are labeled as a boy or a girl at about two to three years. Toys that parents buy for children reinforce their gender roles.
The different tasks of men and women have given another name for The Stone age: The Hunting and Gathering period. Men and women had different roles and it is believed that gender roles were formed already then.
