Villele Museum, Reunion Island - Interactive exhibition of Botanical Illustrations from Reunion Island

We designed an interactive scenography to exhibit the botanical illustrations of Janince Cadet, famous Reunion Island botanical illustrator.
Exhibition took place in the historical church of Villele Museum, called Chapelle Pointue. We did not only brought the illustrations on screens but the flowers, the trees and the plants. We brought nature inside the church.
We wanted people to really see, feel and smell what they could see on screen.
From a simple movement of the hand, in front of the screen, people could navigate through the work of Janine Cadet.
We used bamboo and local materials for most of the scenography items and a leap motion.
