"The Barge: A Musical Museum."
The premise of the project was to design a spatial sequence inspired by the scene and song "I am the Walrus" of the motion picture "Across The Universe". A conceptual framework was then developed, after the scene was studied in terms of color, light, the repetition of elements, cinematic jumpcuts, ect. The end result is a museum enveloped by a perforated surface; a skin that not only fucntions as the main structural element, but also plays an important role in the spatial sequence and the everchanging music/light shows of the museum.
