Little Creatures
I was not content with design having to remain on a flat plane. Therefore, I looked for a larger and wilder space to play. Little Creatures is another abstract series that I made based on the same concept. I selected several colors that have great contrast and effect from my color palette, and then constructed the colors in three-dimensional forms. While making these forms, I placed them on a simple white background, in order to clearly see the slight color changes in the image and test the effect of illusion. In this project, I am also investigating the internal structures of three-dimensional geometric creatures, and creating the illusion of space caused by the changes, reflection and comparison of colors.
