Within Veiled Walls, was created as my college senior thesis project in the Communication Design program at Southern Illinois University. Its purpose is to address and denounce the stigmas, stereotypes, and limiting assumptions that are applied to people based on various superficial attributes such as skin color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical or mental handicaps, occupations, etc.

For this project, I conducted interviews with volunteers about their experiences with stereotypes, assumptions and discrimination. These interviews were then converted into a poster series. Photographs of participants were compiled and presented on the Within Veiled Walls website withinveiledwalls.com each with a quote from their interview to share their experiences with viewers.
