Basic Needs
While we feel burdened by our heavy backpacks and schoolwork here in America we often lose track of the real struggle going on all around the world. Young girls in undeveloped countries often are tasked with foraging for water every day for hours on end which means that they are missing out on life-changing opportunities, such as getting an education. Here we see these two worlds juxtaposed against each other which makes it clear that these girls are exactly the same, with the only difference being the place that they were born.
