His Swing
'His Swing' is a story I created to accompany a series of digital photographs. With the material of cardboard, I formed a selection of miniature environments and lit them with a household lamp, then photographed the scenes I had made.

The narrative begins with a man walking from his house to near-by woodland. The forest he enters was where he used to play in while he was a child. Nostelgia hits the character when he notices in the distance, the swing he often had fun on during his childhood. Not all is as it should be though, as when he walks up to the swing, it appears to be much to high for him to reach even as a grown man. Where the rope should be connected to the trees is not visible either.
Curiosity builds up within, and he decides to climb up the nearest tree to investigate. Once reaching the treetops, it is obvious that the rope from the swing accends up into the sky further than the eye can see. One tug of the rope, and the man is suddenly holsted up by the rope into the sky.
The destination is unknown.
