2012-13 Design Apprentice

The following is a collection of work from my time with Adidas Sports Licensed Division’s at Reebok Headqaurters in Canton, MA. Overall, I had the chance to be involved with various tasks including trend analysis, research & development, design presentations and graphic design projects for the

NBA, NHL, MLS, other sports leagues & Hot Market Accounts.

Throughout my duration, I contributed design ideas and concepts for new Team Identity projects and new product designs across various Mens & Womens categories for the Adidas, Reebok, CCM

and Logo Athletic brands.

Adidas | 2013 NBA Championship Ring Ceremony Jacket

As part of a Hot Market objective, I was given the ooportunity to design the large, Back Graphic of the upcoming 2013 NBA Championship Ring Ceremony Track Jacket! This was pretty cool, considering at the time, the 2012-2013 NBA Season hadn't even made it to the All-Star break, yet. I was assigned to research the Top 5 Win/Loss Records of the NBA Season at the time and determine the Sample Teams we would use from that (along with a couple judgment calls).

Those prospective 2013 Championship Contenders: (2012 Champion) Miami Heat, OKC Thunder,

San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls & Los Angeles Clippers

Ultimately, when it was all said & done, the Miami Heat won their 1st Back-to-Back NBA Championship and 3rd title in franchise history. Adidas would go on to unveil the NBA Championship Ring Ceremony Collection that the Heat players would wear on October 29, 2013. Players wore the special On-Court Track Jacket featuring the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy during the 2013-2014 opening night pre-game ring ceremony in Miami. The collection also included a Swingman Jersey, Climalite Tee and three different hats.
