The blend of colours and patterns combined with the use of high quality fabrics and printing resulted in a limited bed linen collection for ZigZagZurich, the Swiss based home textiles label.
I experimented unusual techniques and analog methods to reinvent my digital aesthetic body of work in highly vibrant patterns, bring computer algorithms in printed textiles and create my first textile edition for ZigZagZurich. Thereby Frontiers was generated to reveal a sliding noisy sandbank. From the pixelation was also born the crisscrossed Highland, high resolution of the Scottish tartan. Diffraction occurred when a light wave came across a block of glass. As well as Kinetic, an unbound imaginary exposed by the automatic writing of a flawed analog video camera. An error is a deviation from accuracy or correctness which as to be explored. A corrupted file broadcasted Glitch as a pattern code. Tribal Daze, Magnetic Fields and Balearic Haze were born out of my Berlin live video (VJ) practise. It is kind of as if a bunch of colours went nightclubbing and found some crazy cool shapes that they dug so much they decided to merge their auras. (Textile, 2014)
