It is created with the inspiration from the third letter in the korean alphabet ㄷ(Digeut).

And it is derived from ㄴ(nieun). According to principle of Hangeul(Korean alphabet) invention,

So ㄷ(Digeut) is derived from ㄴ(Nieun) by adding a stroke.
This character has a personality that is extempore, positive.
 
 
About DUDURI (Korean monsters)
 
The korean monster DUDURI is inspired from the shapes of the korean alphabet.
It includes all 14 letters of the alphabet starting from ㄱ and finishing with ㅎ. 
Each letter represents a character and each character has a unique personality. 
The duduri companys aim is to use these characters and spread the information on the scientific,
linguistic aspects of the  Korean alphabet internationally.
It will also aim to spread the cultures and the society of korea as well.

두두리의 세번째 캐릭터인 도리깨입니다.
한글의 세번째 자음인 ㄷ[디귿]으로 부터 형태를 가져와 만든 캐릭터이며 ㄴ[니은]에서 파생된 캐릭터 입니다.

한글 창제원리 중, 가획의 원리라는 것이 있습니다. 한글의 모든 자음은 기본 자음 5개로부터 '획'을 추가해서

만들어진다는 원리입니다. 그 원리에 따라, ㄷ[디귿]은 ㄴ[니은] 도깨비가 혹을 붙여서 "진화"된 캐릭터로 만들게 되었습니다.
도리깨는 즉흥적이고 낙천적이며 달리기를 좋아한다는 특징이 있습니다.
