CONCEPT STATEMENT: Fans will riot to the off-beat rhythm of an environment of disproportion and fragmentation; manipulating established principles of pattern and texture. Faded colors highlight the appeal of vintage grunge. Deconstruction of linear elements formulate the abstract boundaries of a space of controlled chaos that personifies the style of the non-conforming, vintage punk.

Design Elements
- Change in floor elevation delineated by change in flooring materials
- Existing design elements, such as glass block and some existing walls, will be utilized and incorporated into the design
- Emphasis on the performance area will be created by unique ceiling features and a radial arrangement of furnishings

- Changes in floor elevation and wall partitions create separate activity areas to accomodate different levels of social interaction, as well as maintain appropriate noise levels in each area
- Eclectic mixture of different types of furniture and a variety of upholstery, floor, wall and ceiling maaterials specified
- Unusual angles throughout the design in placement of furniture and boundaries in flooring add to deconstructivist appeal
- Combination of different line styles, forms, colors and textures manipulate the use of a single standard and stimulate the user's senses and visual perception within the space
