This is a random sketch. I liked it and I decided to keep drawing.
I painted it with watercolor, but I wasn't really happy with the tones I chose.
In my eyes it looked a bit too much like flayed meat and I did not want to make it look too creepy.
I turned into digital and selected a warmer set of colors. Much better!
My fellow Alex and I had the idea to intersect the picture into layers to give it a little 3d-effect.
Alex organised some prints and we started working. First of all we had to think about it...
...then we pasted up the prints on some strong cardboards and started cutting out the right parts.
Then we brought together what belongs together.
After nearly 4 hours of cutting and glueing, we fixed the last piece.
