There are a few things that I really love in life—The  Sims and laughing are two of them. Withthis project I was able to combine the both by taking advantage of images takenwith the in game camera I had taken while playing  TheSims. The Sims is a lifesimulator game that was first introduced in 1989 with SimCity. Since then it has evolved in into The Sims 3, a game that allows all of the Sims in the game to berun by the computer so everyone grows up at the same time. Seeing how the gameis computer run you would assume it is perfect, but like real life, in the gamethings go wrong sometimes. Game players call these things that “go wrong”glitches. Visiting guest walks off with your baby, glitch. One sim caughtstanding inside of another sim, glitch. Your sims boyfriend shows up on theirdate not fully rendered, glitch.  A lotof the glitches that happen cannot really happen in real life but they canrelate to real life. I decided to associate these images with motivational messagesand jokes that make the images more relatable to non-players and funnier tofrequent players. My hope for this book is for it to be enjoyable even though thereader may not know anything about The Sims.
