The logo was constructed through the name “Urban Outfitters”. Urban, pertaining to or designating a city or town, the company didn’t want to be as literal. Taking on another route leaning more towards outfitters, an establishment that sells clothing especially for outdoor activities, that is where the concept of the trees and mountains came from.
