This was a project for an Information graphics class. The objective was to create a map with a secondary inforgraphic. So I decided to map out Frodo's trip to Mordor.

I illustrated the map and then drew out the path with spots marking significant places where things happened.

When a certain point is on the map it would bring up a box telling you the date that the events occured and it would also include bullet points of the things that happened. It would also include a video clip from that scene. 

When you click on the video it would open up this window with the reversed out map to make the clip easier to see. It also includes the location, the date, and a timeline that marks the significant data points as well. The taller the points the more significant the event. And how far through the timeline you are would be displayed by having the remaining points darkened.
