This brief required a new brand identity design for a modern Art Deco inspired luxury hotel, in Sydney. The features of the hotel are a world class restaurant and jazz piano bar (Style Moderne), a grand Art Deco-styled foyer and one of the most opulent penthouses in the country. The Delano Hotel symbol is derived from an Art Deco hanging light, featured in Sydney’s Opera Bar. Strong, geometric shapes and contrasting colours provide this brand with the boldness this art movement requires.
