The intent of this project was to create a high end meditation-style chair,
starting as a sketch and evolving into a 3D CAD model and ready-to-build chair design.
The design for the meditation chair started with a sketch, with color added

Much consideration was focused on choosing
the proper geometry for an ergonomic and comfortable solution
Materials intended for the design are genuine black leather,
bent Rosewood or Maple plywood, and ABS plastic for the seat frame.
Much inspiration came from Beech bentwood stools and the infamous Eames Lounge Chair
The minimal design adds just the right support where is needed using black oxide socket head screws
The upholstery and wood selection could be customized to fit many environments and various themes
