Este trabalho foi baseado no texto do autor Jõao Paulo
Cortim, "Os caracteres andam luminosos"
A intenção passou por fazer uma comparação entre,
a tipografia no seu começo, e a tipografia de hoje em dia.
Para isso, tentei simular uma espécie de ecrã, (na parte
de cima do candeeiro),ou seja o texto só se torna visível
quando se acende a luz. Na parte inferior do candeeiro,
a ideia foi criar uma composição tipográfica para cada
face do cubo, simulando os caracteres antigos, feitos
em madeira (carimbos de madeira). Em suma o meu
trabalho pretende deste modo, mostrar a evolução da
tipografia ao longo do tempo.

The initial idea was to find an object that would allow
me to illuminate the text and most importantly, make
a comparison between before and after printing.
Therefore I decided that a lamp would be my choice.
I started by drawing a contemporary lamp that was
easy to understand and with an unusual format that
makes us making it an object of play. The intention
was to do a comparison between the typography in
its early stages, and typography of today. For that,
I tried to simulate a kind of screen (at the top of the
lamp),in other words the text becomes visible only
when the light turns on, which immediately creates
a surprise effect on the user. At the bottom of the
lamp i simulated the wood characters.
