The brief was to create an infograph on the theme ‘Nature’, one that could be printed on a coffee table mat. The process included finding a topic we were passionate about, researching to collect data and finding snippets of interesting stories/facts to create the final infograph and designing the same.

Mine was based on Crabs. Hermit crabs (above) are creatures that walk sideways, live in shells of other creatures and fight for a shell when their old one is broken or they have grown. These are amazing creatures and they walk the way they do because if they walked straight, they would trip over their own feet and keep falling! When I went to the Andaman Islands, I heard a sad story of theirs - many hermits die because people pick up shells from beaches and they don’t find the right ones to live in and I tried to bring this issue to light through my infograph.
