Brief - Asked to promote the fictional ‘Northern film and theatre festival’ by creating a brand identity, few magazine spreads to help explain a bit about the event and a website for the occasion.
Magazine - The magazine looks into the film side of the event and helps promote some of the films that will be shown, plus includes an interview from one of the Northern films stars, Sean Bean . 
Web Page - The website uses symbols and icons that relate to films and plays, the north of England and to further continue the industrial look of the brand. 
The symbols on the home page are all interactive, when the user clicks on them, relevant information will appear.  Such as the one above where it tells the user on directions on how to get to the event after clicking on the motorway sign. 
Each location where the event would appear would have a different and unique set of symbols to help promote each location in their own way. Above is the page for Newcastle and Gateshead.
