Cord, inspired by the word itself, draws its inspiration from the curved and flowing nature of the individual character formations and the way in which they instinctively bring themselves together as one.
With this overarching concept in mind, there are also subtle references to the circular shapes of a wheelchair and the discs found in the anatomy of a spine. The clear visual association with a cord is also present, symbolising a spinal cord but also doubling as a metaphor for strength,
