CONTAGION!
This is a personal illustration I did just to stop myself from rusting over during the summer. I've learnt a lot doing this piece, there are some things I would do differently if I were to do it again but I'm really pleased with the level of detail in it. Based on a hand sketched piece and done entirely in Illustrator, the layering on the head is designed to resemble cells dividing and absorbing others. The title inspiration came from a film that's coming out soon but the illustration itself was inspired by bad zombie films on Sky Movies and Left 4 Dead 2...
