The "T-Yama's" are my concept basketball footwear, designed for the competitive, agile player who is quick and cuts deep into his/her game. Made out of a breathable mesh knit fabric, the T-Yama's are a hybrid of a running shoe but for the hardwood gym floor. The fit of the shoe is slim and snug, and it's overall lightweight structure does not interfere with a person's game; in fact, it enhances it. T-Yama's also strive to make its wearer feel confident, hence it's bold graphic patterns and textures to give a sense of style and freshness.

Growing up in a Japanese American community in Los Angeles, basketball was the one thing that kept my friends and family together. It was our way of life, and the culture shaped me who I am today as a designer and human being.
