Origin of the name.
From the etymological point of view the term Lollobe might have originated from the Sardinian archaic term lo'ò which meant watercourse and the archaic Sardinian term Lobe which meant acorn. The term was referred to the location of the country, an area with an oak forest full of acorns for pigs and crossed by a stream.
