Samira is a Syrian Refugee in Lebanon whom I got to know throughout my final year at university. My final project was based on her. My approach was to link her personal stories and our conversations to general facts and figures about the Syrian refugees in Lebanon. The project acted as an initiative for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, and was manifested in the form of an illustrative book which portrayed both Samira's personal characteristics as well as objective views on the situation. I also designed posters for the campaign that acted as an intervention in the streets of Hamra.
