This project was for an Interior Design Theory paper in semester 2 2014.

 

The brief was very broad and allowed for endless interpretations, the goal was to reinvent a public space to make it better be it through small insertions, art installations, or even a total redesign.

 

I took a macro (very macro) approach and proposed an urban design framework. I identified flaws in what I felt were letting down public space in Wellington City and decided the best way to better my chosen space (Glover Park) was to improve everything else around it.

 

Through this project I uncovered my interest in urban design and planning.
