The challenge here was to design marketing pieces for a theatrical production about a man who inspired others, Frederick Douglass. Considerations during the creative process were his trials, triumphs, the heat of the summer months, and the importance of learning to read. When taking the photos of the model, I chose to get below his eye level to get the perspective I was looking for. The background texture used was a previous photo I had taken.
