Second Skin is an exhibition concept for Issey Miyake — the fashion designer who is known for his structural clothing and geometric pleats — hosted by the Pacific Design Center.

The idea of this exhibition is to bridge fashion and architecture together and showcase how design can be transformed from body to space.

The concept of this installation is "body activation." By using a sensor and projection, the content that is being projected changes according to the location and quantity of human bodies.

Poster/Brochure
This poster/brochure is designed to educate the audience about Miyake's process of how he makes pleats. The folding structure is inspired by Miyake's Pleats Please line.

Lantern Poster Series (Folded)
The purpose of this poster series is a takeaway that educates the audience by having them get their hands into the making of the structure.

Lantern Poster Series (Flat)
Each design is inspired by Miyake's different pleat technology: Pleats Please (blue), Bao Bao (yellow), and In-Ei (Red).
