These short run earrings were made for the Glasgow School of Art Christmas sale to fund a student trip to Munich.
Looking at mass production I tried to incorporate more industrial materials and means of fabrication into the work, using tempered mild steel, silver brazing and fine silver. The forms are derived from facial features, which are simplify to create augmented spaces and a conversation with the ear itself.
