In our class, Consumer Behavior, we were given a design project that was to illustrate our learning of consumer behavior over the course of the semester. The idea was to choose a subculture and create a magazine with content explaining and illustrating what this sub-cluture means in the world. I grouped with a team of four and was given the duty if designing the entire magazine. My group came up with original content that was brainstormed as a team and I put it all together.
Our idea was to illustrate the "Organic" sub-cluture because of the ever growing desire for the world to in all areas. We developed story ideas, recipes that were found on the internet and performed interviews with people of the sub-culture. The color scheme was fresh and original to go along with the idea of coming from what was already created: organic.
