For 6 long days I trekked on Mount Kilimanjaro with a team of 18 trekkers and 60 porters, I managed to conquer the highest peak on the mountain and highest point in Africa, Uhuru Peak. It was extremely cold at the top, around -20 degrees, but well worth the effort to get there.

 

During the trek my camera never left my side, as I captured the people and landscapes around me... Even at 4am I'd wake up and capture images through the night, such as Mawenzi Stars which shows the rotation of the Earth during the 30 minute exposure. Overall a stunning set of landscape images, which have picked up award after award, including top 10 finalist place in the International Travel Photography Awards in New Zealand.
